These two had a positively gorgeous day for their wedding. We started the day early at Saint John Nepomuk Chapel in the Historic District located near downtown Saint Louis, Missouri. It is such a magnificent church with high ceilings, stained glass, Saints lining the walls, and a celebration of Mass with Jesus.

The morning got a little turned around and we started the day with the groom and not the bride as initially planned, but what a wonderful little hiccup in their day. The veil! The veil was not put in with the dress when picked up from the dry cleaners. Oh no! But again, "what a happy mistake", Katie, Stephanie's Maid of Honor said, it turned out to be.

The bride's mother-in-law came into the church with the veil. Another thing to note, the bride is wearing, her mother-in-law's wedding dress from 1984. Because of this "happy mistake," Aaron's Mom was able to place the veil on Stephanie's head and they shared a special moment that was not planned, or expected, but truly wonderful to see.

Mass was celebrated and we grabbed pics with the family and the couple in the church and outside before heading over to the reception.

The reception! What a great place at the Field House Museum located across from Busch Stadium and where the bride works. The staff, worked hard to ensure everything was perfect for this couple with pasta, salad, and bread. Drinks, wine, and a gorgeous cake. Just so you know the cake was delicious per the groom who shared the information after he and his bride shared a couple of bites and had them going back for more. So cute!

We stole away with the couple to grab a few pics inside and outside the Field House home built in 1847. Horns honked and people shouted as they drove by, announcing their well wishes and congrats to the couple.
