Irene and Andrew were married in Hermann, Missouri at the beautiful Little Piney Lodge.
Andrew and Irene are out of Saint Charles County and we were thrilled they got out of the city and decided to have their wedding in wine country at the Little Piney Lodge. The location was beautiful and intimate, and we were excited about all the wonderful spots Little Piney offers for capturing portraits.
Their wedding day was incredibly beautiful and fortunately, the weather was perfect for a July wedding. Instead of the usual upper 90s temperatures and high heat indexes, it was a lovely low 80s with perfect sunshine.
We began the day with detail shots and Irene's maid-of-honor helping her into her dress. Andrew and Irene's daughters looked adorable in their pink and purple dresses, each with a cute butterfly in their hair.
I love it when couples do a first look, and Andrew and Irene did just that. They also added another first look with Andrew and their daughters, while Mom watched from a distance. It was a super-sweet moment.
The flowers were gorgeous, and everything about their day was bright and colorful. They even had a flamingo on their wedding cake – so much fun!
