Bailey and Jake were married in Mexico, Missouri at the Audrain County 4-H Center
Bailey and Jake's wedding day was beautiful in so many ways. The bride looked stunning, and who doesn't love a large group of men in cowboy hats? The best man used to be one of those kids running around the old neighborhood along with our son, and I hadn't seen him in years. What a treat!
When I got the wedding party list and saw the names of the groomsmen, I told my husband, "This will be a rowdy group. They'll be fun and polite, but they're definitely going to be rowdy." And they were, but first and foremost, they were there for their friend Jake, and it was obvious they were all proud to stand up with him.
The bride was surrounded by a beautiful group of ladies, and the colors Bailey picked for them were gorgeous. These ladies did a fabulous job posing, running in, and surrounding the bride for the perfect picture. By her side was her maid of honor, Bailey's best friend of sixteen years, and her joy at seeing her best friend get married was so sweet and lovely.
A family friend who has known the groom since he was a boy officiated the ceremony. The groom shed tears when he saw his bride for the first time, and Bailey was overcome with emotion as she was led down the aisle by her parents and through the ceremony.
After the ceremony, we took pictures with the whole wedding party. There was hootin', hollerin', and even some climbing on shoulders. It was so much fun! Then we took some portraits of just Bailey and Jake, which is always my favorite part of the day, and they nailed it!
